Assessment of Bone Density around Dental Implants Using Two Platelet-Rich Fibrin Protocols (A Comparative Clinical Study)

Aims: The current study aimed to compare bone density means around dental implants covered with one of two platelet rich fibrin preparation protocols (Standard-Platelet Rich Fibrin and Advanced-Platelet Fibrin) using standard intraoral digital periapical radiographs. Materials methods: A total ten male patients an age range 28-51 years participated in this split-mouth clinical study. were divided into groups based on the (PRF) protocol be used implant insertion positive control (S-PRF) group (A-PRF). Each patient represented which he received 2 implants; for each (a 20 implants) length diameter posterior mandibular extraction sites ipsilateral or contralateral side. In group, PRF was prepare clot. advanced Both membranes instilled inside osteotomy bed during fixture installation. Following installation as a basis comparison between both groups, densitometric analysis at immediate, four, eight twelve weeks scheduled visits made. Results: Total results showed no significant difference within S-PRF A-PRF highest mean (167.07) being after surgery group. Conclusions: A-PRF, similarly enhanced maintained (synergistic effect) throughout disclosed by values. use its forms seems accepted minimally invasive approach good results.
